The AI Readiness Audit. Five days.

The most honest five days an SME can spend on AI. We map your stack, score five candidate use cases, and hand you a written report you can act on. Whether you go on to build with Wingenious or not, you finish the audit knowing exactly what to do.

§ Why this is the safest first step

You should not buy AI from someone who has not looked inside your business.

The audit makes the engagement small enough to be safe. Five days, one Gary, twenty written pages, sixty-minute readout. You leave with a ranked roadmap whether you continue with Wingenious or not. 50% of the audit fee (£1,225) is credited against any subsequent Wingenious engagement booked within sixty days.

What you receive

One report. Five scores. A ranked roadmap.

The audit delivers five named artefacts. Every artefact is signed off by Gary. Nothing is generated unedited.

Artefact 01

Twenty-page written report

Executive summary; five-dimension scoring with evidence; five ranked use cases with effort/impact/risk; a 90-day next-step plan. Yours to keep, share with the board, post to the team.

Artefact 02

Readiness Index out of 100

A single defensible number. Calculated from the five dimensions. Lets you re-audit in six months and measure progress against a baseline rather than a vibe.

Artefact 03

Sixty-minute readout call

A live walk-through with the Gary. Bring the founder, the operations lead, the technical lead. Recording made available afterwards for anyone who missed it.

Artefact 04

Ranked roadmap, 90 days

The first three months of action, in priority order. Each step has an owner, an effort estimate and a defined "done" condition. Use it with us, or without us. The roadmap is yours.

Artefact 05

ROI measurement framework

A one-page measurement plan for the top-ranked use case: the metrics that will prove payback, the baseline you need to capture before build, and the cadence for reporting against it. Every engagement scoped against the value of the outcome; every workflow measured against impact and ROI.

How the five days run

Kickoff Monday. Readout Friday.

The audit is calendar-light for your team. We need roughly four hours of conversation across the week. The rest is our work, not yours.

Day 01 · Monday

Kickoff & scope

Ninety-minute call with the founder and operations lead. We agree the scope, identify the interview list, and capture the commercial outcomes the audit must score against.

~90 minutes of your time
Day 02–03 · Tuesday–Wednesday

Interviews & mapping

Up to five thirty-minute interviews with the people who actually do the work. We map the live workflows, not the org chart. We see your tools running, not their screenshots.

~2 hours of your team's time
Day 04 · Thursday

Scoring & drafting

We score the five dimensions, rank the five use cases, and draft the report. Gary signs every section. The AI workforce assists with research and drafting; their output is never released raw.

No time required from you
Day 05 · Friday

Readout & handover

Sixty-minute live readout. Q&A. Honest answers. PDF report and roadmap handed over. Two follow-up emails included over the next 30 days for any clarifications.

~90 minutes of your time
The deal terms

Audit pays for itself. 50% credit if you continue.

The audit is a standalone deliverable, priced at its commercial value. You owe nothing else after the readout. • £2,450 fixed. 50% up front on PO, 50% on completion.
  • 5 days from agreed kickoff date. Bookable up to 4 weeks out.
  • £1,225 credit against any Wingenious engagement booked within 60 days.

FAQ

The questions SME leaders ask before booking.

Is the audit useful if we have not done any AI yet?

It is most useful when you have not done any AI yet. The audit's job is to find the ordering, not to grade what you have already built. SMEs that book before they start get a clean roadmap; SMEs that book afterwards get a course-correction.

Who does the work?

Gary does the audit and signs the report. The AI workforce (Alex, Alice, Alicia, Adam, Aaron, Abigail, all "A.I.") accelerates research, scoring and drafting, but their output is never released unedited. Gary personally signs every audit in 2026.

What happens if the readiness score is low?

A low score is useful information. The roadmap will sequence accordingly: typically starting with one tightly-scoped automation that improves data hygiene or process documentation before any AI is applied. A low score does not mean you should not start; it means you should start carefully.

Are we obligated to continue with Wingenious?

No. The audit is a standalone deliverable, priced at its commercial value. You can take the report to your internal team, a different vendor, or your existing partner. If you do continue with Wingenious within 60 days, 50% of the audit fee (£1,225) is credited against the next engagement.

Can we run the audit remote-first?

Yes. Most audits run remote-first via video. We travel for kickoff or readout if you are within a sensible drive of Wrexham (Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales, North Midlands) at no extra cost. Further afield, travel is by agreement.

Ready when you are

Five days. One report. A clear next step.

The audit is the lowest-risk way to find out whether AI is the right next move for your business, and what specifically you should do first.
